Raijin Battle(Variant Rule)

☆The Variant rule with Arcanum token “Raijin Battle”

About the Raijin Battle

It is a more advanced battle in which players aim for a higher level by possessing the power Arcanum tokens of successive Raijin. In a normal game, only one Arcanum Tokens is placed in the game. When using expansion pieces, “Destroy” and “one Arcanum token” can be interchanged.
However, in the new variant rule “Battle of the Raijin” to be added this time, the “one Arcanum token” limitation is intentionally lifted, and all players start the battle with Arcanum tokens in their hands.
By having all players use the same Arcanum tokens, which are powerful and have unique effects, players will be able to experience a very intense and stimulating battle.

Setup

In the Thunder God battle, the “Destroy” piece is returned to the box because it is a prohibited piece.
The number of players plus one piece is prepared, and one piece is dealt to each player at random.
The remaining one is returned to the box face down and excluded.
The received Arcanum tokens is not shown to the other players, but is placed face down on the moon of the character playmat after checking its contents.
This completes the preparations for the Raijin battle.

Rule

In addition to the normal rules, the following rules are added to the Raijin Battle.

In addition to the basic “Fetch → Select → Pile → Chant”, a step called “Kai” is added before “Fetch”.
In Kai, the player moves the Arcanum tokens on the Moon of his character’s playmat to an empty space in his “body” or “hand”.
However, “Kai” can only be performed when all of the player’s Omon are occupied.
The player can choose whether or not to perform “Kai”. That’s all.

Timing is the key to “Kai”!
Let’s aim to be the strongest raijin by using the “Kai” skillfully!

Recommended Setup(1)

Prepare 9 kinds of Arcanum tokens, and turn them face down and randomly select 2 for each player to check the contents.
Place them face down on the moon of the character playmat without showing them to other players.
The remaining pieces are placed back in the box face down and excluded.
To “open” a piece, choose one of the two pieces and move it to an empty space in the “body” or “hand”.
After that, you cannot “open” again during the game.

Recommended Setup(2)

Each player chooses one Raijin to use, and receives three of his or her own Arcanum token.
One of them is chosen and placed face down on the moon of the character playmat.
Any piece not chosen is returned to the box face down and excluded.
